🛫Beyond the Window 🪟
The composition below was made for a challenge proposed by the digital artist Lucas Rosa, during one of his livestreams. All participants needed to use a provided base picture, of a airplane window, and use Photoshop to create a stunning piece of art, while being free to choose the visual concepts of said image.
Both artistry and the hability to convey a sense of quality, as well as refinement, were the main aspects to be analysed by the judge, in this case, the artist Lucas Rosa himself.
The compositon was made using the base image, digital mockups, and an Adobe Firefly generated picture for the background.
Main concept
It was my intention to visually represent the feeling of being on a journey of self improvement, along with many others, aboard their own airplanes.
You as the spectator, went through many hardships to be on this plane. Maybe it took a while to get here but it finally happened. You are aboard an aircraft that's gonna take you to a place of peace and sucess.
We as digital artists may always struggle with perfectionism, low self-steem, or any other type of negative feelings, however, you are not alone on this journey, as there are many other people out there, aiming to improve their skills, and be a better version of themselves. The best part of all this? You can support eachother, provide guidance, help, and praise whenever necessary.
